The 2020 Metro Classic tips off action Friday with four nationally ranked teams and 13 games spanning the course of two days in New Jersey.
The talent-filled event features No. 16 Sierra Canyon (Chatsworth, Calif.), No. 18 Long Island Lutheran (Brookville, N.Y.), No. 19 Rutgers Prep (Somerset, N.J.) and No. 21 Camden (N.J.) on Feb. 7-8 in Toms River, N.J.
Jonathan Kuminga is expected to return from injury to lead Patrick School (Hillside, N.J.) against West Virginia powerhouse Huntington Prep and Sierra Canyon battles Gill St. Bernard's in Friday action.
Ranked No. 5 in the Preseason Top 100, Huntington Prep has struggled with an 8-8 record over the past 16 games. They do boast, however, quality wins over No. 10 Sunrise Christian Academy (Bel Aire, Kan.), Briarcrest Christian (Eads, Tenn.) and Roselle Catholic (Roselle, N.J.) in that span.
Meanwhile, Patrick School appears to have recovered from its early season struggles, gaining momentum as one of the favorites to capture the New Jersey Tournament of Champions crown.

All four nationally ranked teams are in action Saturday, culminating with a Top 20 battle between the Trailblazers and No. 18 Long Island Lutheran.
No. 19 Rutgers Prep enters the event unbeaten, but faces its biggest challenge of the season against Huntington Prep. A win for the Argonauts bolsters their national resume as star junior
Trey Patterson will be put to the test on the big stage.
No. 21 Camden has been a surprise team out of the Garden State behind the strong play of Kentucky signee
Lance Ware and elite freshman
Dajuan Wagner Jr. The Panthers appear to be serious contenders to compete for the New Jersey Tournament of Champions crown and a win over Gill St. Bernard's would be a statement.
Long Island Lutheran relies heavily on strong guard play as Illinois signee
Andre Curbelo looks to continue his impressive senior campaign. Ohio State pledge
Zed Key will be tasked with battling down low against a much taller Trailblazers frontcourt headlined by 7-foot-3 center
Harold Yu.
